The purchasing experience is always good with Helinox (I have bought a number of products from them, including the Chair Zero high-back and the Sunset chair)): they have quick delivery and good after sales service. However, the Savannah chair is not as comfortable as I had hoped: I was attracted to the idea of the Savannah because it has a wider seat than the Sunset chair. The back is very high but it is oddly shaped: while the middle of my back is supported reasonably well I have to have a head cushion to make use of the high back. A cushion is a must have, because due to the shape of the chair I have to move my head back about 4-5" without one, and this is not comfortable. I am around 188cm tall, and I find that the seat is too short to give adequate support for my thighs. Even with a cushion I feel that my seat and legs are sliding forward unless I use a footstool. I would recommend to any potential purchaser to try before you buy if at all possible.

Well after procrastinating for a long while and getting tired of my old big clunker of a fold up chair I found the purchase of this item very easy. Shipping was slow, SEATOSUMMIT you can do better!!! Once the package arrived, opening and assembly was fairly intuitive and painless. Sitting in this thing was a comfort level I deserved a long time ago. Treat yourself to this chair and you'll be thanking yourself for may trips to come!

Both chairs share a similar seated height. Savanna Chair offers a taller back and is wider and deeper than Sunset Chair. Savanna Chair also adds twin cup holders and a different headrest arrangement.
The high back on Savanna Chair features a padded cross-bar and offers a comfortable rest for your head. For extra comfort, a headrest flap will accomadate a pillow or the optional Air and Foam Headrest accessory. The flap secures to the rear of the seat back with velcro and will help hold in place any padding placed beneath it.
Savanna Chair supports 320 pounds or 145 kilograms.
Savanna Chair features padded armrest 'wings' on the seat sides that offer a comfortable way to rest your arms.
Savanna Chair and Playa Chair are the same except for the legs. Playa Chair features splayed legs suitable for use on sand and therefore sits much lower than Savanna Chair.

Seats and carry bags should be hand washed in warm water using a mild detergent. Seats and carry bags are not machine washable. Ensure fabric is completely dry before packing away for storage.
Your chair should be stored in its original carry bag in a dry location. Always ensure the chair is completely dry before placing into storage. Chairs should never be stored damp or wet.
Always start by fitting the seat to the upper rear poles. Then lay the chair on its back. Use your body weight to flex the lower seat poles into the pockets. Brand new seats can be a little tight but don't worry, they will stretch slightly with use.
All Helinox frames are anodized to protect against corrosion. However the anodized coating will be fighting a losing battle if you pack your chair away wet and leave it that way. So always ensure your chair is completely dry before storing it. If the frame is exposed to salt water, always rinse with fresh water and leave to dry before packing away for storage.
Yes! Shock-cord that gets damaged can be replaced to keep your Helinox chair active for many years.
