FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS>
Although these two chairs may look similar at a glance, they're actually very different. Chair Two is an evolution of Chair One. It shares the same seated height as Chair One, whereas Sunset Chair has a much taller seated height. The high-back on Chair Two works best for people 5 foot 7 inches (170 cm) and under. Sunset Chair features a taller 'high-back' that works well for taller people.
The high back features a padded cross-bar and offers a comfortable rest for your head. For added comfort, the carry bag (on most variants) can be filled with something soft and attached to the high back for use as a neck pillow. Simply open the velcro flap on the carry bag to expose the velcro section and attach this to the matching velcro on the seat back. The amount of padding and exact attachment point can varied to your personal preference. To up the comfort level even further, try the optional Air and Foam Headrest accessory.
Chair Two supports 320 pounds or 145 kilograms.
The lowest part of Chair Two's seat is approximately 9.8 inches or 25 cm off the ground.
We kept it simple with Sunset Chair and decided to offer a Cup Holder as an accessory.
All Chair Two models can be fitted with the optional Rocking Feet accessory. The Chair Two Rocker product, however, already includes the Rocking Feet accessory and a larger carry bag that fits both the chair and the rockers.
Seats and carry bags should be hand washed in warm water using a mild detergent. Seats and carry bags are not machine washable. Ensure fabric is completely dry before packing away for storage.
Your chair should be stored in its original carry bag in a dry location. Always ensure the chair is completely dry before placing into storage. Chairs should never be stored damp or wet.
Always start by fitting the seat to the upper rear poles. Then lay the chair on its back. Use your body weight to flex the lower seat poles into the pockets. Brand new seats can be a little tight but don't worry, they will stretch slightly with use.
All Helinox frames are anodized to protect against corrosion. However the anodized coating will be fighting a losing battle if you pack your chair away wet and leave it that way. So always ensure your chair is completely dry before storing it. If the frame is exposed to salt water, always rinse with fresh water and leave to dry before packing away for storage.
Yes! Shock-cord that gets damaged can be replaced to keep your Helinox chair active for many years.
We sell a number of accessories such as Ball Feet and Ground Sheets that prevent chair legs sinking in soft ground.
Helinox frames are made from an advanced high-tech aluminium alloy that offers the perfect blend of strength and minimal weight. This special alloy is a higher specification than aircraft-grade aluminium and goes through over 70 production processes from raw billet to finished pole section.
